I want them to make FTL2 already. Full universe, more ships, more weapons, more options.
And can buy ships at stores.
I think a free-roaming mode would be quite nice, where you can just fly around and explore, become more and more powerful and fight even more tougher and unique things.
I have never had these "bugs" and I've sunk 23 hours into this already.Spoken like a man who has not been hit with the recurring bug where your oxygen drains to zero for no reason, or been boarded and watched the boarders effortlessly pass through fully upgraded doors

Was trying to get the Slug ship earlier and was given the quest marker to fight the ship in the Homeworld sector but when I reached the quest marker it didn't give me a blue option before fighting. Anyone know why?

Yeah had both (sensors at Lvl 3) as I was purposely going for it.Did you have a slug aboard? or upgraded sensors to level 2/3?

Weird.
Yeah, got a Slug as my pilot from the Type B Fed Cruiser, upgraded my sensors to level 3. Hit the Slug Homeworld and let off a enemy Slug ship and requested info rather than a weapon and subsequently travelled to the quest point. There, a Slug ship attacked me and I just ended up destroying it (slowly to make sure any dialogue actions would appear) but nothing happened and it just blew up.o0o0 very weird sure you had the right event?
Have you posted about this potential bug on the official forum? throughout beta I have never heard of such a big so maybe its new in release.
I had a friend say the same thing to me before but it turned out his o2 had turned off while in a nebula and he didn't realise nor did he know how the power systems worked, was quite amusing. There are many other variables to this as well such as some events will disable certain systems on your ship o2 normally isnt one of them apart from the multiple choice ones. You could also have had a potential hull breach or maybe you left your doors open?
Was the O2 supply powered though?
So is this game based on skill or random events?
Can you win it just based on skill alone?
