Fuel price discussion thread (was ‘chaos’)

Has there been another invasion of Ukraine lately or have the Saudi's run out of oil all of a sudden? Prices have gone up yet again £1.47 for both Morrisons and Sainsburys thats only a penny less than the super expensive local independent thats open all night. Or it used to be its seeming quite reasonably priced now as the prices everywhere have barely a penny between them including Esso I think the supermarkets know the govt's taken its eye off them

As someone mentioned recently part of it is the school holidays.
 
I know services are more expensive anyway, but collected a couple of friends from Trowell S/S on the M1 two weeks ago and had to get a splash and dash....1.74 for regular unleaded! :eek::mad:

£1.39 now at Costco

That’s a 9p increase since the start of school holiday. And the kids go back to school from Wednesday. Bet it goes up one more time :( before the kids start school from Wednesday.
