Fuel up/down again

Just filled up with Shell VPN+ today @136.9 which I think is the cheapest I've paid for the good stuff in over a year. Considering I've paid 146.9 in the past I was well pleased.

Its dropped here in Oxfordshire over the last 2 months or so. It was around 134.9 at one point for standard unleaded. Its now common place to see 127.9 seems to have dropped 3p over the last month alone.

No flame just not exactly as amazing as it sounds as around here both of those have increased price by 2p over the last month.

exactly, its creeped up, then they going to do a "special" by reducing petrol over christmas, kinda how all supermarkets work with grocery's, half price deals because they doubled the price last month.

Well it's been exactly a year since the last post in this thread

Brent Crude continues to trade within a dollar or two of the record lows it saw at the end of December, when petrol fell to as low as 82.9p a litre.

Despite this, nowhere in the UK is selling below 87.9p a litre.

Why?

Current live Brent price is $41.20.

Oil is trading at $59 a barrel for the first time since May 2009

I can't see it hitting below £1 anytime soon. Not before the Gvt whack on some more duty. Still, at its peak, I'm paying 30p a litre less which is always nice :)
