Fuel up/down again

I can't see it hitting below £1 anytime soon. Not before the Gvt whack on some more duty. Still, at its peak, I'm paying 30p a litre less which is always nice :)

Have the conservatives wacked any extra tax on fuel since they came to office??

I filled up the other day for less than £60... was a bit of a shock.

It was nice to hear one of the DERV fanboys at work this morning bemoaning the cost of his fuel.

I've noticed though at a few petrol stations the high octane stuff is now very expensive compared to the regular cat wee......

I remember when it was about 3p difference, now its at least 5p more for V power over normal shell stuff!

Cheapest I've filled up was this Monday at an Esso station, 112.9 per litre

If only I was old enough and rich enough to buy an AMG Mercedes :p

You can get a CLS55 for about 10 grand! Hardly the reserve of the rich or old :)

ASDA dropping to 110.7 today i believe.

I was talking about 10 years ago it was only about 3p difference, totally agree its 5-8p a litre more now

They might have changed the pricing when they rebranded it to V Power Nitro+ a few years ago. That's around the time I started using it so I don't really know the price difference before that.

When I started driving fuel was something like 82 pence per litre, chances of it ever getting anywhere near that are slim I know but can only hope :p Still, at least it no longer costs almost £80 to fill up the tank.
