Fuel up/down again

Oh of course, diesel. I have not bought diesel in years so it wasnt on my radar as a headline price. Good price then for sure, i bet you are loving it :)

"Supermarket" fuels though, thats a whole other discussion. Its very clear that you do not understand fuels and their supply chains to make a comment like that.

you had me wondering there, thought we were missing out on a cracking deal there. even with us just running a couple of cars we're still spending 25k a year on fuel. so even single percentage point savings on fuel mean a big bit of cash. a 10% fuel saving is a cracking couple of weeks away next summer. can only imagine how happy the road hauliers are at the moment if there seeing similar drops.
 
They must be, happy days :) I spend a lot on fuel too (nothing like you though) so i am loving it too. Last fill at 104.4ppl at the local BP via Amex.
 
to think we as a country nearly rioted when it broke £1/litre


sad to think that the cost without the governments tax and duty is sub 30p/litre

I don't shop at Asda other than the fuel. Even the petrol station is across a main road and roundabout from the Asda store so it's not even like driving to Asda.

Yes, for diesel.

Paid an effective price of £1.08 a litre last night using the Amex offer Jez is talking about.

116.9p a litre advertised price, £5 statement credit for every £50+ fill you make at BP.

I paid something like £65 for 60 litres :)
 
Read recently Saudi Arabia is willing to maintain full production as a barrel of oil goes back to $20
I think its over a decade since it was that low principally because the dollar was much stronger at that time and its worth over a third less now. So they are being pretty aggressive, not quite sure but announcing that intention I guess is for Russia's benefit perhaps a shot across the bow to fracking operations

You can get an extra 1p or so off if you use their credit card
 
The end of the world is nigh.... it'll never get to that stage as someone will crack but these oil prices are going to cause problems very soon.

Doing wonders for my wallet atm though
 
Haha no chance am I driving out there. To be honest though it's not as bad as those videos make out.

When I et back I always notice how hesitant and slow UK drivers are
