When I swapped my Nikon kit for the X-T2, I got quotes from MPB, London Camera Exchange, and believe it or not, Jessops, and Jessops gave me the highest quote by quite a bit. LCE was the lowest. Ended up buying from Jessops, and was very happy with the whole transaction (took less than half an hour for them to check my Nikon camera and lenses, issue the credit, then sell me the X-T2 and lenses). Ended up getting promotion for the 35mm lens (I think it was £250 off if you buy it with a camera body), and £100 cash back for trading in a Nikon camera.Cool thanks. Wondering if it's worth emailing MPB for pricing. Are they any good?
I'm struggling to see why I bought the 14mm now to be honest. Although it's an awesome lens and good fun to stick in someone's face for a comedy/wide portrait, the 18-55 does f2.8 at 18mm so you could do similar things... And for landscapes you tend to drop the aperture anyway so
Not today I'm not with regards to being the sharpest tool. I was stuck on my phone in Costa with an intermittent connection and unable to check any accompanying responses with regards to the link. I hate Costa, Google doesn't work (using Android) so I'm also unable to check the validity and cross-reference the source. In my defence, there is an engineer in that thread who fell for it who presumably did have access to a stable internet connection. Can you please share your sources in future?
Either way that sounds like absolute wishful thinking. Fuji have said multiple times they will not be going full frame, and to expect a fully modular camera is really stretching things. It won't even have IBIS.
EDIT - LOL it's a 2 month old April Fools article, not the sharpest tool in the box are you Ethan... https://www.fujirumors.com/breaking...d-monochrome-sensor-similar-to-ricoh-gxr-s10/
Funnily enough I'd watched his previous video where he was weighing them up before going to Disneyland. Didn't bother continuing to watch, oopsThis was a good watch for the 18-55.
Oddly enough when I bought my XT10 it was about £2-3 difference between getting it with the "kit" 18-55 and the 35/f2 Hence why I opted for the 35/f2.The annoying thing about the 18-55 is that because it's the kit lens, you get it *really* cheap when you buy it as a kit, compared to the standalone price!
Yeah but the individual value of those two lenses is quite different (making the kit 18-55 a steal)! Plus I wanted the 35 1.4 (not a super cheap lens either).about £2-3 difference between getting it with the "kit" 18-55 and the 35/f2 Hence why I opted for the 35/f2.
I do not know .What's with the fix for the latest firmware, taking weeks

The 14mm is a specialised lens. For me it's a lens that should only be bought by someone who definitely knows they need it. By all counts it's meant to be a fantastic lens (if I'm remembering rightly), but 4mm (diff between 14 and 18) is not that amazing in the great scheme of things, and yet another heavy expensive lens to own and carry around. The biggest reason I decided to switch to Fuji was the size/weight aspect.
Nope, second hand for £279. Seemed to be a good deal.Did you go for new 18-55?
