Nier Automata for me. Wasn't expecting to like it at all as I'm not a huge fan of those types of games with a heavy Japanese influence. Fantastic game though, really took me by surprise.

As soon as I've complete AC:O I'm getting into that. It must be selling well as it didn't get any reduction in the recent sales.

Steam just released there 'best of 2017' figures and Nier Automate was in the Gold category for sales. I've no idea how many that means but there were only 12 games in the Gold category and 12 games in the Platinum category above that so yeah it appears it sold well.

Automata should have taken it, TBH. At least in the OST, story concept and atmosphere department (though the combat is damn good as well). I guess it's a bit too niché and weird to compete with all the bog standard AAA titles but I really haven't played anything as elegant and creative in recent years.

It is damn bizzare, though, just like the rest of Taro's games.

I suggest playing with Japanese audio, fits the game a lot better.

Haven't played any of them so didn't vote, although I think I have PCars2 in my steam library so may check that out.

I do love the community side of things and discord is a little like whatsapp with the side chat channel so that's cool...
