Poll: Game of The Year 2017

Seeing as I have only played 1 of the options, Hunter Call of the Wild - it is!

Haven't really found "my" GOTY yet, for me its been pretty bland.

Prey was a complete suprise for me, really enjoyable, so it gets my vote.
Also it was the only game on the list that I've played other then PUGB, which just isn't my cup of tea.

For me me its been a fairly poor year for games on PC, more disappointments than anything else.

Original Sin 2 a stand out though, Warhammer 2 also very good but not as much of a stand out as the first one was.

PUBG for me, despite me not playing it for the past 7 months I got a little over 100 hours from it. So well worth the money. It also has to be recognised for the sheer impact it's had on the industry this year.

However I don't agree with some of the words coming from the developer / PU himself with trying to claim rights to a game mode and threaten legal action against others who use it.

There was a lot of **** AAA games this year. Most of them in fact.

Or games that have clearly been made to milk money with loot boxes as a priority over actual gameplay...

AC:O for me...

In a year when so many games are designed first and foremost to hook players in and extract their time and money with cheap mechanics....we get a proper AAA single player game that looks and sounds every penny of it's budget and keeps you playing because it's *fun*.

I really need to play Nier though....

Think it sums this year up for me that the most votes goes to an asset flip game that clearly looks and plays like it was made by a modder.

I'm not gonna vote because the only game I've played on that list is PUBG, have Wolfenstein installed but playing GTA 3 and Assassin's Creed Syndicate atm.

Having just finished Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, it really should be a contender on the list for game of the year. Very highly rated with critics but perhaps not so much recognition around here - a game unlike any other I've played - worth checking out.

Pubg is the only one I’ve played. If my wheel wasn’t in storage I probably would have got project cars 2.

But while PUBG is a good game it’s hard to vote for it as a game of the year.
I dont consider PUBG a full game anyway its just a multiplayer game mode with 2 maps.
