Don't get the fuss myself with emilias butt. It's pretty flat and un noteworthy.

Was just going to post this. I think Joffrey made that episode to be honest.
One of the better episodes to the series.

One thing I noticed was that when Melisandre cast that spell, Stannis said the three names of the 'false kings' but said Joffrey Baratheon when he's actually a Lannister. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I thought that could be significant later on.

Joffrey baratheon is called as such because (as far as all of westeros is concerned) his father was Robert Baratheon.
The fact that he is in fact Jamie's is unknown to most. Did eddard ever actually manage to tell Stannis ?

Stannis knew before Ned(think he was the first to find out?) . Ned only found out because he was investigating what stannis and Jon arryn knew.

I can'r wait until the season finale where the main battle takes place... I have a feeling 80% of the season budget is being saved for that! Either way though this is a character-driven story, and personally I don't give a **** how many swordfights I see each episode. I love the script, I love the atmosphere and I love the story being told. Epic stuff imo.

Absolutely, I'm looking forward to the finale which is kinda odd wanting to get to the end! Wish the next book would come sooner too

What are you expecting for this battle ? If you're hoping for some kind of big battle where the contest for the crown is decided don't hold your breath. There are 5 books currentlty published (we're currently watching 3 of 5) and in the 5th one the whole thing still isn't resolved.
Martin Doesn't start tieing these things up until the 6th book which isn't even out yet.

Jon Arryn was the first to find out(well between himself, Stannis and Ned) and was killed for his trouble. While investigating Arryn's death Ned found out the truth about Jamie and Ceresi. When Robert was dying Ned sent word to Stannis that he was the rightful heir to the throne.

so the number of people outside Jamie and Cersei that know is limited to :

I think it was Stannis who first suspected, and it was he who persuaded Jon Arryn. I am not totally sure though. I I don't think it is specifically stated anywhere tbh. The impression I got though, was that stannis started the whole thing off.
