US: Game of Thrones Season 3 (contains spoilers)

I can'r wait until the season finale where the main battle takes place....

What 'main battle'?

Also, in Season 2 the 'main battle' took place in episode 9 not the finale. So the next episode should have the crucial stuff with episode 10 more of a 'tidy-up' episode.

Well I bet that episode impressed ;)

They shouldn't of shown Sam T blabbering about his dragon glass the his previous scene.

Had I not known he was carrying it, his outcome with the White Walker wouldn't have been so obvious.

I thought the same, was way too obvious (I haven't read the books so I don't know what happened in the books)

I also noted he left the dagger there in the woods and ran off, I'd be taking that thing with me if another white walker was coming at me

so the number of people outside Jamie and Cersei that know is limited to :

Stannis, as the only other 2 that knew are dead.

Wrong. If you recall from Season 2, Stannis had copies of the proclamation stating that Joffrey was the result of incest sent to all corners of Westeros.

Beat me to it. And several characters in series two refer to that fact, including Littlefinger - it's what provokes the "Power is power" scene.

Most people probably don't believe Stannis though tbh. I think the number of people that actually 'know' this is small. Littlefinger and Varys definitely, but they know lots, and are happy to let it play out.

What are you expecting for this battle ? If you're hoping for some kind of big battle where the contest for the crown is decided don't hold your breath. There are 5 books currentlty published (we're currently watching 3 of 5) and in the 5th one the whole thing still isn't resolved.

Martin Doesn't start tieing these things up until the 6th book which isn't even out yet.

Mance and the wall... Battle of Castle Black?

Ok not the very end but surely the big epic battle of the series. Thought it would be a bit obvious to someone who had read the books. :)

Seriously, can we not have book spoilers in this thread! There's another thread for that, I don't want to know what might happen in the coming episodes based on what the books do!

In the series, the entire Wildling army is marching to Castle Black, and in the last two episodes Jon etc are already moving to assault it and are very close... are you saying you didn't think a battle was coming at some point?

This is only part 1 of the Book 3 series though, the stuff at the wall will happen next series

Ahhh I wasn't sure if they would stretch that out over two series due to budget constraints.... I figured they would condense it for TV. Oh well, even more to look forward to then. :)

Tormund, Ygritte and co are trying to attack Castle Black from the undefended south and secure it, ready for when the whole wildling host arrives with Mance.

This said battle could have be focused on Daenerys and her Unsullied, or King Rob and his intended assault on Casterly Rock?

Either way, thanks for confirming :|

whats the reaction for ?

We've already been told Mance Ryder has united the wildlings and raised an army with a plan to Invade the north.

He's sent a raiding party north of the wall to sack castle black, overrun the defences and open the gates for the army to march south.

All of this we've been told already. All we're talking about is the battle that is to come that has been talked about constantly in the last few episodes. This period is called the War of the 5 kings for a reason. There's a war going on with multiple battles. This isn't the first battle in the series and won't be the last. Like you say, there is King Robs to come, as well as Daenerys's battle on the slaver city.

We aren't

We haven't discussed anything that you've not already been told. Spoling it would be to tell you who won the battle.
