US: Game of Thrones Season 3 (contains spoilers)

When I say it is much better, it is like from 1st gear into 2nd (may be 3rd at times)...still not impressed yet, nowhere near on the level of season 1. I am just less bored by it and scenes actually have meaning. i.e. the nudity this time was for a purpose, the chat between Sam (woot I remember his name!) and the girl ended with something taken place (and why he didn't pick up the knife after!?).

There are still lots of room for improvement, although I am not sure whether it is better because they set it up using 7 hours of television, or whether it feels better because the previous 7 hours has been utter turd so any improvement, however marginal and now magnified because of the boredom one has to endure from the previous 7 hours.

I'm enjoying it but only as I've read all the books that are on release so far, must admit that the Bran storyline in the series is more interesting for me than it was in book as I felt it was bloody boring whilst reading it.

They do need to do the setup though, this is a big, meaty story, not a garbage daily soap opera and has hundreds of sub stories to be told, not all of which are particularly dramatic or full of sex and violence. Overall though I still think it's superb and knowing what's still to come in many of the characters storylines (Those that survive..) just makes it even more compelling.

Seriously?...he has done nothing!

I think the handling of Bran's storyline has been woeful tbh

Indeed that boy needs to pick up his pace... sorry Hodor Needs to pick up his pace a bit!

edit: also Loving the Facebook recaps on Happy place:

"Samwell Tarley, Gilly, Infant X & not the Dragonglass Knife that was just really useful are attending the event ****! Run!"

Not loving the Bran bits, they aren't terrible but nowhere near as exciting as the other story lines at the moment.

I felt the same about some the Daenerys bits in the last series but now that has become fantastic, so I have hope.

whats the reaction for ?
This isn't the first battle in the series and won't be the last. Like you say, there is King Robs to come,.

You seem very certain that 'King' Robb will fight in another battle. From what I've seen I'm not so sure. The way they've built everything up it just seems as though something nasty might be about to happen.

Ughh, just noticed GoT isn't on this weekend when checking to see if Continuum is. Next episode isn't until the following weekend :(

Edit - Jinx :p

Apparently because of Memorial weekend. They aired an episode on it last year and the ratings dipped so are skipping it this year.

Haha, that was quite amusing. Thing is, the original GOT was written in 1996 so this video could very nearly have been true. Scary thought.
