Now this could just be me, but im not really getting much fun or enjoyment from reading gd, is it just that time of year again? or is it just me? :confused:

whats everybody elses thoughts on GD right now?

The whole boards at the minute seem to be plauged by people with no common sense (i.e., we're being told pedophillia is OK, etc).

A certain 'youngness' seems to be spreading and the only real life experiences any of them have is posting on an internet forum.

I'd say the boards are plagued with people who can't spell, have no sense and can't use the search

Perhaps you should engage common sense yourself...I dont remember saying Paedophilia is ok but what i do remember saying is we need to know more about it and locking them up is not exactly the solution.

If you dont like the quality of the thread...erm use common sense and make one. :rolleyes:

Another poster on here mentioned this to me last night... and they're right. The biggest problem is that SOOO many high-quality posts are just being ignored. Only the contraversial or sarcastic stuff is getting replied to.
Similar thing in SC - nothing much I want to post in there at the moment.

It's the weather. It's damp, miserable and cold outside. Because of this, people can't go outside to play footie, or go shopping or whatever.
They then got nothing better to do but come here.

No... the terms are not mutually exclusive, I was merely stating that quality of post is not a factor as to how many replies it will get, but contraversiality IS. I don't mind controversial topics

I realise that you post controversial topics and I value your contribution... but I have noticed that quite a few good responses get ignored and then there are the PC meatheads whose social skills don't extend past posting "send them back :mad:
