Very much

Far from the perfect amp though

Its cleans are stunning. Really warm with a lot of character.

Put an OD in front of the clean channel ( I use a fulltone OCD) and you can get some really great tones.

The lead channel is amazing once again but I would like it a bit tighter I guess. Turn the mids down and it can do metal so easily...

the lad in our band owns a Marshall AVT 150 +AVT cab, and he owns a Peavey 5150, and cab MKII, the peavey is stupidly loud!

I've got a Marshall AVT150 and it's not a patch on the Blackstar.

I have an AVT 100 and I can confirm that the Blackstar knocks it for 6 for distortion.

his marshall is good for all the classic rock stuff, we used to use his 5150 when on the road, but it was just too much.
