Gear Thread - Pics

This morning I have also bought a piece of equipment that I can afford and hopefully it will do the job but I would have liked something way better.
The shop salesman also tried to get me to pay for something better quality but I'm taking a risk - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/F1220A.aspx
If it does the job then I'll buy 2 more.

It looks like I'm buying 2 more - very impressed :)
For something that cost £150 it looks the business and sounds ..... well it sounds like what a monitor speaker should sound like.
The Feedback control is a useful feature which enabled my vocals to go way louder.
Now to see how long before it breaks down.

Ordered from here tuesday night and it came at 7:45 this morning - http://www.prolineaudio.co.uk/
I don't really like recommending Behringer, it's like recommending Amstrad & Alba but hopefully the quality is better now.

i'll hold off for the time being then, we have 2 cheapo monitors (wedge shaped) but they sound brilliant.

we run our pa as normal, with 2 x Peavey HiSy4's as full range, powered through a Peavey 2800 amp, then 2 x Yamaha 12" Tops powered through a second peavey 2800 amp. (comes out the desk and through a graphic eq, to filter all the low end frequencies out) from the desk we send 2 Aux's to Lines on 2 seperate channels on a 600 watt powered soundcraft desk, which has built in effects, and eq/graphic so we have maximum control over our Monitors! very good setup!

Well I've been meaning post this for a while. Had it a few months, plays beautifully (after I put a fresh set of strings on and set it up properly) and now I've just knocked a chunk of out it. :/

Yeah it's a Fender. Just a MIM though, and I'm not someone who owns guitars for their resale value, so it's not the end of the world.

I just went to put it down on my bed and banged it into my acoustic that was there. Wasn't even a particularly hard knock. :/

Weird thing is, the thin, hollow acoustic hasn't got a mark on it. :D

Dunno if I should bother trying to stick the piece back on or not?

You can buy both these clone guitars.
I think the Beck one costs about £30,000 because only 10 were made.
The Strummer one goes for about £700.

The guitarist in my other band Mistreated also plays in Testify and if you look at the pictures you can see that he made his own SRV guitar to a very high spec.
He mulled over pictures and sourced 'original' parts.
He pulls the guitar out when we do the SRV and Hendrix tunes.

Well yup, I decided to sell the Orange Rockerverb 50 for £880 and buy this for £550. It is MINT condition :) I'll be spending my leftover cash on a Fender Deluxe Stratocaster

I've only played around with it for 2 or so hours so far and I can already tell I prefer it to my Orange, it's not necessarily a better amp, it's just voiced a lot more to my preferences. Saying that I prefer the clean channel to my Orange, the cleans are just incredible.

I am considering selling my Fulltone OCD V.3 now as well, have no use for it with this amp.

The lead channel is to die for as well. I've also found a great SRV like tone!

Now I've just got to find an AC\DC / Indie tone and I'm good to go.

Oh my god! You are truly one of a kind :o :D

You had the orange for ~2 months, made a loss the equivalent of my last amp, and have bought another one and plan to by another guitar - despite having one on order that isn't finished

You'll have to excuse the terrible pictures, I am probably the worst photographer in the world.
