It's so hard to find the right tube amp. What is the clean channel like and is the 120 in yours mean 120w ?

I posted a question in an american forum and most of the answer i got was to get a Mesa Boogie....they don't realise they cost more over here.

well im learning like yourself so not really played on it yet (im that bad yes) but the guy i got it off fired it up when he dropped it off with my prs and it sounded very clean and crisp when set to the boutique cl pre set.

and yes 120 means 120 watts. its got 2x12" 60 watt speakers in it, but thankfully it has pre sets for amp power at 60,30,15 and 1 watt. so no need to blast the windows out straight away lol.

It does 1 watt? that's useful. I've been looking at those 1 watt amps, they seem nice but if I can get an amp that can do something like 20w and 1w it would be even better.

i guess most larger amps have power settings on them if not just have to keep it turned down low. but when he demo'd it, it was setup at 2x30 and wasnt too over powering on the volume knob.

i got it as it was a good price for something that should keep me entertained for many a year with all the different amp types in it. and when/if i ever find a specific sound il invest in tubes then.

but il probably keep this amp till it dies, just seems such a nice bit of kit to have knocking around.

I'm a member of the PRS club also.

'96 PRS CU22 with McCarty wiring

Also have a '99 Gibson Les Paul Custom (my main Squeeze)

A '96 Gibson les Paul Classic with Will Boggs pickups.

2002 USA fender Strat (Modified with a Wolfgang bridge Humbucker)

Also have a EVH Wolfgang Stealth and Taylor GS-Mini E (but no pictures of them)

That's a lovely set of instrument you got there, almost one for every sound ! A Les Paul, PRS and a Strat.

2013 I think it was.. i just got it in December. It's just the same as the GS-Mini but with the piezo pickup built into the bridge and the standard Taylor tone controls.

Mine is the limited edition quilted one.

I would've got one of those but thought i wouldn't plug it in anyway so go the Mahogany. Will get my hands on a full size Taylor in the future no doubt and get a ES in that
