Gears Of War 4 (coming to Win 10 in Oct)

Just looked into this and found this

"Xbox Play Anywhere only applies to digital games. Xbox Play Anywhere games can be purchased in the Xbox Store, the Windows Store, or via a digital code at participating retailers."

http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/xbox-play-anywhere

So a digital game will be tied to your account so won't be able to sell or trade it

didn't stop people selling Quantum Break keys.

let me get this straight, I buy one digital key from a discounter like CDkeys, enter it on either or both XBone and Windows 10 store and own the game on both platforms?

Yes the play anywhere only applies to digital keys, so if you buy a disk xbox copy it looks like you only get the xbox version, probably because you could sell the disc and keep the windows version.

Is this the Locust yet again? Thought they were already pretty much wiped out? Not even sure who the playable characters are

Who cares?

I just need to know one thing:

Gears of war is one of my favourite video game franchises of all time. It's great to see it finally return to PC but It's a shame to see that W10 is a requirement and as such I won't be buying it :(. Looks like I'll have to go XB1.

Gears Of War 4 PC gameplay - keyboard and mouse controls put to the test

Wow they are putting the keyboard and mouse to the test and yet he uses the mouse like his hand has been stuck in the freezer for 24 hours.

That's what I don't get with Microsoft, I like that these games are coming out on the PC but they sabotage it with very high prices compared to steam

It's because console games are traditionally higher priced, and I guess they don't want to be undercutting their faithful console gamers?

Plus if it was cheaper - Wouldn't it have to be cheaper all around, as buying one gets you access to both PC and Xbox One version now.

So savvy console gamers would just all buy the cheaper PC version to play on their consoles.

You would think they could just price it £10 higher in shops than for a digital download though, as most consumers would understand the cost of pressing a disc, manual, producing a game case and shipping them out to stores is considerably more than storing it on a cloud server for people to download.

Old video but hasn't been posted before. Just the Graphics options no gameplay footage so don't worry about spoilers, unless you think looking at graphics options is a spoiler
