Yep, can't figure out why people do that.
And another pet hate - people tinkering with things they shouldn't, especially people who think they are great with IT but know just enough to be dangerous.

Indeed, PC's would imply something belongs to the PC.

For pluralisation you have no apostrophe, "Those are my PCs," or "People keep asking me to fix their PCs."
Mostly the things people have already mention liked cluttered desktops, but one thing that annoys me on these forums is the amount of posts about intel speed step, people posting about why there cpu speed is lower than expected when they use cpu-z, and the advice given is to disable it in bios and then they are like "k, cheers that fixed it". When really it's not a problem and should really be left on unless they have some overclocking issues, it's good having it on as it saves power, makes the PC when quieter and cooler with no compromise of speed as it ups the multiplier under load.

Apostrophes are often acceptable if you're pluralising a number or acronym.

I'm pretty slack for this, at work im usually working across 4 or 5 servers but i still tend to dump stuff on my desktop a lot. I dont work from the files so they are pretty much useless!
