Geforce GTX1180/2080 Speculation thread

PS5 is out in 14 months :)
And true, this is going to be a Zen+Navi system. No more anemic Jaguar (see Atom) CPUs.

Lol optimism more like 20+ months no really knows sure but latest guess's were 2020 and my bet would be middle to end of that year plus only a bit more powerful then an xbox one x but not much as that would put the price up and there no way sony are going to do another PS3 type price

the thing is they are dropping these cards in at double the price of what they are actually replacing. total joke.they are 1080 and 1080ti replacements. yet double the price. mining generates nothing. how do they expect to sell these cards.big prices drops incoming.

Let's face it, the only thing that matters is does it run Cyberpunk the fastest. :)
Yep. Cannot wait for that game to come out. I recall Gregster posting an article about it being built with future graphics in mind, so I doubt even 7nm cards coming next year will be able max it out at 4K 60fps.

I will be happy if 7nm 3080Ti can achieve 30fps though assuming the graphics are a nice leap forward. I can see myself doing multiple playthoughs of that game. Can do one optimising settings for 60fps and another playthrough for maximum eye candy as G-Sync has me covered :D

I think you'll find that the first 7nm card will be a GTX 1180 will have no ray tracing or tensor cores, and will have 20% better performance than the £3000 titan T (launch in November) , and will launch in January 2019 :P

I am really interested to see if (as Nvidia have stated) there will be more of a focus on NVLink - it would be nice to pair up a couple of 2080Ti's :)
A pair :eek::eek: Mate, no way I can afford a pair of them but yer, I wouldn't mind seeing how NVLink works and how much/if any improvements are over SLI.

What about the Titant (small t) when it's released 5 months later :p
