Sorry. Checked it in preview and it looked ok, maybe cos I was logged into their forum where it was an attachment. Anyhow...

LOL
For those wondering it's competitizone
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

I worry about the whole "the drivers aren't ready yet" or "the games need optimizations" thing. This shouldn't be a rushed launch, its been over 2 years and they're under no pressure to release anything. It strikes me as weird that they wouldn't have crossed the Ts and dotted the Is before now.
That being said we don't know what's been going on behind the scenes, it may be that Volta just didn't like up to expectations so now they are super rushing to get something out in fear of slump in the market.
I don't know, this whole thing just feels unpolished.
Well said, drivers are polished. That's just an excuse. And like you said there was no rush to release if they weren't ready. The fact is they are ready and that's what you are going to get bottom line. Sure, drivers will mature. No one is doubting that but to ignore facts presented to you in hopes that "it ain't true" is being disingenuous to yourself and to those who are just visiting the forum trying to figure out what's going on.I worry about the whole "the drivers aren't ready yet" or "the games need optimizations" thing. Makes them look good when they release drivers a month after launch which bumps fps up by 25%.
Now look at an early preview of the game on the XBox One X:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-LTaT6qGUg
So a system with an Atom class CPU,and an RX580 class GPU,and it can run the game at a locked 60FPS at 1080p or 30FPS at 4K,whilst looking fairly decent.
Actually is something between RX470 and RX480![]()
In terms of TFLOPs its close to the RX580:

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2938/radeon-rx-580
However,it also has significantly more potential bandwidth to play with and also supports certain features from Vega too.
But either way if someone can't get 60FPS in this game with a GTX1080 with a recent Core i7,etc on decent settings something weird is going on IMHO.
My head is spinning here. Will these tensor cores have an added benefit to performance with ray tracing off?
I think he mentioned something about antialiasing?
That’s how LampChop roles. Won’t see him making positive comments oftenI think this is the 1st time i have seen anything other than lavish praise heaped onto CD Projekt Red!
