I just realised the RTX2080 has 3GB less VRAM than the GTX1080TI. Even the GTX980 and GTX1080 increased VRAM amounts.

According to ComputerBase, the 2080 offers around the same performance as a 1080 Ti. This is absurd, as you can get deals on 1080 Ti's for £550-600 whilst the 2080 is £730! So pay £130 more for performance of a 1080 Ti you could have got 1.5 years ago. Nvidia are having a laugh.
In a competitive graphics card market, the 2080 would not get away with being more than £450, let alone almost £300 more than that!

I like that his graph shows the Vega 64 using more power than a stock 2080ti which has a vastly bigger core.

Well I said the same - that turning up the Turing cores would vastly increase their power use so...

My goodness, only 49w more than the V64 (and less at stock, kek) for so much performance. The 2080ti must be about the most power efficient chip out there.
