Geforce GTX1180/2080 Speculation thread

Well that's a little disappointing.

I received my delivery around 40 minutes ago and ripped open the box as fast as I could...

Only to see a 2080 sitting there when I had ordered (and been charged for) a 2080 Ti.

*Sigh*

A pickup is now arranged for tomorrow so I guess it will be next Tuesday at the absolute earliest for me now.

When I received my shipped email yesterday, I cleared my diary for the weekend and got all excited.

Oh well, I've been using the company for 20+ years and this is the first mistake they've ever made so I can't really complain.

**** happens. At least i'll get some work done today/tomorrow.

My understanding was that general availability was delayed by a week, but that pre-orders should still be trickling through from today onwards.

Cant wait to run Star Wars RTX demo soon on RTX 2080.

Feel really bad for people who changed their mind after read RTX 2080 reviews and bought £650 GTX 1080 Ti instead that will run ray tracing like slideshow.
