The Tory's school bully tactics didn't carry the day today though, with a vote designed to get rid of Speaker John Bercow in the next parliament failed: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-32061097

Absolutely shameful stuff. Fundamental features of the operation of the House of Commons shouldn't be stuffed into the end corners of parliament out of naked spite and biterness.

I'm very glad this didn't pass; regardless of the principle of whether this should be a secret ballot or not the manner in which it was done was utterly shameful.

What's interesting is that Salvation is the only one that stays high, they've been at the 17-18% for most of 2015. What makes them so different?

I assume you mean Survation not Salvation? There's a good summary of the differences between the various polling companies on a previous UK Polling Report post, I'm not sure why Survation is showing a high level of support than others, but they're actually showing a larger drop than most - although that's probably a result of an abnormally high reading in January.

Just watching Election 2015: Cameron and Miliband Live

Good god Cameron just give long drawn out rambling non-answers to all the questions, Miliband is probably going to be worse

IMO, as a Scotsman, that is BS. Most Scots and English are entirely indifferent. It is only a small minority on either side that has issue, and if I am honest I would say more Scottish people seem to have an illogical hatred of the English. Normally the young, braindead, 'Bucky'-drinking neds. That is one of the things I hate about Scotland.Anyone with more than 2 brain cells doesn't give a damn.

That is the same in every western nation, the problem is that the stupid people have sufficient numbers to make it a pointless discussion.

Question digs Labour about demonising higher rate tax payers, and he waffles on about cutting tuition fees? What the ****?

Milliband has it a bit easier because he can just focus on how they'll improve things from the current state but doesn't have any of the flak from being the current in power figure

Loaded audience questions for Ed, he's not getting an easy ride like Dave

Kay is being openly hateful, do you think she'll ask about Shreadded Wheat
