German Grand Prix 2014, Hockenheim - Race 10/19

There's nothing acceptable about being on the racing line when remaining there is going to result in a collision, Massa has a history of sticking rigidly to the racing line and causing multiple collisions as a result of cutting into people. I'm not sure if it's stupidity or if he just wants everyone to know that if they try to overtake him on the inside he'll happily take them out. The stewards have never punished him for it so why should he stop?

The racing line is simply the optimum route around the race track for when you're not in any traffic, it doesn't give the driver on it the right of way.

I have reverse angle footage of the Massa incident. It was a little hard to see from where I was because Bottas was in the way, but Massa was on an acceptable racing line.

There is no racing line going into the first corner on the first lap, its why penalty's are rare in the first few laps.

Massa was a fool for trying to take a tight line there.

You do also have to wonder what he is looking at after the start? It looks like hes turning his head and looking directly at Magnussen, and then 2 seconds later he seems to have forgotten he was there?

Why? Because she's a woman?
She's better than you, I imagine.

That means no more than cleverly being better than me at football, doesn't mean he is good enough to play for Man U. We do though have the same amount of race wins, poles and fastest laps across all formula, although i have won a work karting event so I am more qualified than her ;)

She is f1s danica. Slightly above average looking in photoshoots. The black angle has been done and now this box needs ticking. I bet you are happy to moan about a Maldonado or pay driver but happily accept this one because it has ****. The best people should get track time, not because of gender. This is just the same as Cameron lobbing women in the cabinet to box tick.

Lots was made of kimi coming to f1 off the back of 20 odd races and how he didn't deserve a place, yet he won multiple races. Or massa getting the Ferrari drive because his manager was todts son. What exactly has she done to get a seat fitting let alone track time? Nosh off the right people/person?

Track time for young drivers in f1 is hard enough without wasting it on a pr stunt. It would be great to have a mixed grid, but at least earn a place. Her getting track time is worse than a Maldonado or any of the other pay drivers.

Don't hold back dannyjo, say what you really think!

While I'm certainly not first in line to join the Pay Drivers Fan Club, Susie hasn't actually bought herself a drive. Shes a test driver, who has done 2 sessions at race weekend and a handful of straight line runs. In the world of occasional test drivers she is actually pretty much overqualified, in that she can drive a car quite fast.

Its not like Williams have stuck her in a race seat because they need her money, or more likely need her boobs and butt to make them money, so saying she's "worse than Maldonado or any other pay driver" (which is quite a long list) is pretty harsh, considering she's not actually in a race seat. In a group of drivers that has contained such delights as de la Rossa, Badoer, Sirotkin, de Silvestro and Ma Qing Hua, she's pretty good.

(I also love how, yet again, someone on here has gone on a massive rant, but then contradicted themselves in their own post. You say she has achieved nothing to deserve being in F1, but then back that up by giving Kimi (former WDC and 20 race wins) and Massa (almost WDC and 11 race wins) as examples of peope who achieved nothing to deserve to be in F1.....? Don't you think you should have picked bad drivers as your evidence?)

Or maybe its just a sexist rant, I dunno...

de la Rosa and Sirotkin have both won multiple seasons in lower formulas. Wolff has never won a championship season; hell, she's never even won a race in a proper formula. de Silvestro seems an odd mention, since she's a rather better ambassador for female success in motorsport, with 13th place in the 2013 IndyCar series.

I'd love to support Wolff, and women in motorsport in general, but she's hardly a shining example of talent in motorsport. It's extremely doubtful she'd have got the slot if it wasn't for her gender.

That said: she did impress in Friday testing.

Of course, but that went for de Villota too, and de Silvestro. Sirotkin is only their because of his money. Ma Qing Hua too. And countless other test drivers who have been added to a teams roster purley for reasons other than their skill.

But my point is, shes just a test driver. Its not like she has used Daddys money (Max), her corrupt governments money (Maldonado), or her Connections (Ide) to buy a race seat, to name just a few.

And she actually seems to be getting extra flack for wanting to try and prove herself too. I don't rate her, but given what means people are 'buying' seats by out there, Susie having a couple of Friday runs is hardly the worst thing to happen to F1 in the history of the sport...
