Gerrard Arrested?

Always makes me laugh seeing the Gerrard haters jump out of the woodwork when anything at all could possibly be against him.

Fact of the matter is, we know nothing of what happened. Only the people involved in the incident and the police know about it and until they come out and tell us, we know nothing.

He's been charged so the CPS think there is enough evidence to prove he is guilty. I'm more inclined to believe the CPS than any Gerrard loving sports writer who are protecting him as if he were their own son.

Yep, cracks me up too

Just as bad as the Gerrard lovers - who think he can do no wrong

opppss Im replying to one

Until he has won numerous titles he isnt even close

(If players are capable of winning titles year after year with different team mates over an extended period of time - that proves more than the little amount SG has done so far)

So your basing how good a player is based on what he has won? :D

Typical response from you Frank, funnily enough it's not just Gerrard who steps out onto the pitch on matchday, there 10 other players that have to do their bit.

And no-one thinks Gerrard can do no wrong. Everyone knows he dives and is a hypocrite, but up to now off the pitch he has been a model professional, and we don't even know the half of this story yet.

why does it sound like on of Gerrards mates did it and not him btw? I have extremely limited internet access currently so can't read any articles.

I personally don't think it sounds like him but we'll just have to see what facts emerge.

That was according to the Echo, who seem the most reliable source and they were pretty clear when they said it wasn't Gerrard doing the glassing.

Like Scratchy said earlier, the general opinion is that an arguement broke out between Gerrard and the DJ and then Gerrard's mates joined in.

Not watch much football do you.

He listens to it on the radio which gives him just as much right to give an opinion :p

I watch plenty

Others have been there, done it again and again - that has to be superior to a nearly man

Others have won things that they shouldn't have won from the players around it are you suggesting these are better players just because they've won something? You can't judge one player by the team they're with as no-one can win anything on there own.

Gerrard, for me, has been Liverpools most consistent player week in and week out. His performances have ranged from superb to unbelievable.

However this post isn't on his footballing skills it's about what he may have done and the consequences of that which we're all still waiting to find out.

M.

Anyone just see that viewers poll on SSN?

Funnily enough it was Who is the best Midfielder in the Premiership...

Gerrard won rather overwhelmingly with 68%, next closest was someone on 14%, can't remember who.

But... he hasn't won the premiership so that automatically means he's inferior to someone who has. :D

Gerrard seems to have elbowed this bloke in self defence.

Sauce? How do you know that?

Agreed, we don't really know what happened. It'll be interesting to see what arises in the court hearing.

Also, erm no, the "red" newspaper of Liverpool will deffo not be the most reliable source of information. I'd say it's just as reliable as the Sun using a milkman (?).

Was Ronaldo excluded from this poll for some reason?

Nope, he was in it.

So you read the Echo all the time then? Didn't think so.

As far as information regarding LFC goes, they are pretty damn reliable.

a) Who gives a ****.
b) Who give a flying ****.
c) Who gives a massive flying ****.
d) Who gives a big steaming massive flying ****.
e) See d.
f) What's this even doing in SA?

JG always delivers. :)

For a start, what on earth have you agreed with me on

As for the Echo being the 'red' newspaper of the City, the article i was referring to wasn't from anybody from the Sports side of the paper. As for the reliability of the Echo in general (regarding LFC), it's considerably more reliable than any of the nationals.

A local paper reporting on a local incident is generally more reliable than somebody quoting a friend of a friend or a milkman in one of the nationals.
