I'm guessing most of the reviews don't talk about the potential difference when unlocked(I'm pointing the finger at you Custom PC for my main culprit:mad:).

Somewhere is selling the 2GB 6950 XFX for £198.83

my budget was 150 so i've already stretched it looking at the 179.99 1GB 6950
 
What PSU would I get away with on one of these 5870's.. I can run a 5850 on my 400w corsair but i'm guessing one of these will kill it.. Looking at the ocz 600w one as its cheap and looks ok.. ?

I lag in Dragon age 2 with everything on at 1080p! So that justifys a upgrade tbh :p

This is a shockingly good deal and i would pounce on it if i didnt buy the 6950 2gb that was on offer over the weekend. Which is running fine on an antec 430w fine btw.
 
This is terribly tempting. Especially seeing the boost of fps on some benchmark reviews. When does the deal end? ah to the 30th and is there plenty of stock?

I use to have Crossfire x1950xtx's that lasted me 4 years then jumped to a VTX 5870, huge boost but tempted for another 5870... :s

Go for it at this price, i would have thought you could get your money back more or less in a few months if you decide its to much :)
 
Is it two 6 pin connectors or one 6 and one 8 on this? ah found an image of it. Two 6. Good it's from the side facing the front of the case like the VTX. It'll help my cable management. \o/
