I've worked out mine manually before, there is usually about +/-1-2MPG in it, it fluctuates both ways.
Ah ok, so overall it pretty much averages out.

the ECU controls the N75 valve, when the ECU sees the boost it wants, it uses the N75 valve to open and close the wastegate

Aye, just wondering if the N75 is as thick as that or not.
Its only on the later DBW cars that things started to get complex, like mine has a thrust / map sensor in the intercooler cause its DBW any the pre DBW stuff didn't, i know the older 1.8T's allow overboost to happen since the ecu can't force itself into either Soft or Hard limp home mode.
Just wondering what signal the ECU is taking to regulate the N75.

I've managed 40.2 MPG out of the S3 before on a run to Devon and back with the missus and a car full of stuff. That was doing 60mph pretty much everywhere and the MPG figure calculated properly
Am currently getting between 32 and 36 MPG depending on how much town driving I do. Am pretty impressed with it actually, although it doesn't take much for that figure to plummet if hooning it around!
This is on a 210 S3 remapped to ~265 BHP
At 70mph I would think it was easy. I used to get it in my 280PS 2.0T if I sat at 70mph forever. I even managed 35mpg in my S2000 on a trip to Manchester from Reading.
However it was VERY boring.![]()
HowI got just over 20MPG from my S2000 on the 200 mile run back from le mans to cherbourg.
