Getting insurance for my 18 year old lad, he's just passed his driving test.

My self and my wife on the policy made it cheaper. He has a black box fitted. These make it cheaper too.

Decent that, mine just went up around 59% to 600.. all for having 10 years NCD instead of 9 lol

My 18 year old has just passed his driving test. Apologies if this has already been asked, but what's the cheapest way to get him insured. Am I better off buying him a car under my name and have him a named driver? Is it worth if he also cimoletws the pass plus test?
