5S only I think due to the new chip in it...

Edit: was on 37 min download now on 48 min... keeps bouncing up and down (and I'm on 100 mb infinity or some jazz...)

Only reason I want the update is because I want to get keynote for an interview tomorrow!

The only downside is on the web it says it is free for all "new iOS7 devices"... is an update to iOS7 new? or is it only for the 5C / 5S ?

Nah, it did work on the iPhone 5 at least (and does, according to above).
