**Ghost Recon Wildlands** Official thread

Not sure about people saying it runs worse as it runs much smoother on mine. I'm running very high settings and getting no lower than 50 FPS+ at 3440x1440 on my 980ti.

With a avg of 56 fps

Before i had to run it on medium to get it at that sort of framerate.

Edit: After finishing The open beta it feels quite a bit more buggy than before, a car exploded we waited about 10 secs.

No fire on the floor and we both got downed by fire even know the fire graphic disappeared. Really hope they can get their **** together before release. I wish this was as well optimised as the division.

It's a decent game but ugh the bugs are quite freaking annoying. I think reviews will give this a 7.5 or under and a 7 is being generous.

I may or may not, have exterminated some chickens and sheep.

Apparently unplugging your game controller, and using the keyboard and mouse helps performance.. will test.

Quite enjoyed this earlier. Successful stealth feels fairly rewarding. Lost connection to server half way through a story mission, then crashed the chopper in a fashion that everyone got out automatically and then refused to move lol.

Found a fix for my unplayable FPS....was getting maybe 20-40fps even on low settings. Saw a suggestion to set in game frame rate limit 60fps and now its lock at 60fps and buttery smooth at ultra...what the hell?

I found a digger. The guys sit on the rear platforms. Any fun vehicles you lot have found?
you can get in the boot of some cars which is funny when you plough into a fire fight and dive out the boot!

Game wise - it's good fun, runs fairly well on my 290X, however very buggy as other said. Looks very nice, bullet drop is good.

  • We shot a pilot out of a helicopter and then the helicopter headed towards the ground but ended up about 20 ft in the air, balancing on the top of a small tree........
  • Very laggy at times, glitching etc (not my pc as all 4 of us had the same glitch)
  • Does have the whole rinse and repeat feeling -- Ie, kill bad guys, go to next spot, kill more, go to next spot, kill more, go to next spot. Not much changes.
  • Driving is very unfulfilling - feels clunky and very detached.

Gave it a go last night, not really happy about it trying to force me to team up with people online. I like to just play at my own pace.

Is using tab key and then scrolling the mouse wheel the only way to order the AI? When your under fire it feels like a very clunky method.

I've also noticed a few times when I've been under fire and all my team does is sit back and tell me to fall back. Useless.
