Gibbo ETA for 3900x?

Yes, there's a newer version that's slightly more expensive. They kindly switched it at no additional cost.

I can't fault Ocuk service, I just wish AMD would sort their stock levels out soon!

Thats awesome!

I can't fault it either, after at least 5 years of using them never had a bad experience, unless I count the splitting of orders issue which I can't lol.

3900x already up by 20 quid on here, no doubt using the well worn excuse of supply and demand.

I'm really not that desperate to pay over the odds, it's just more likely to stop me upgrading at all.

If all the components I want to buy get 20-30 quid added on for the hell of it, I end up a couple hundred out of pocket. No thanks.

That's exactly what I've done, cancelled 3900X got refunded £180 and 3700X delivered next day, then plop a 4900X in next year :)
I'm getting tempted to do so myself, but considering I've already paid for my CPU so I'm shielded from the small price increase, can't guarantee I'll have the cash to upgrade to 4900X at the time (darn house lol).

Though I am going for the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master motherboard, so I should be ok to upgrade to a 49XX CPU should the price and performance be worth it. Grrr decisions lol, the £180 saving is hard to ignore..... but I've gone for a full CWC loop, feels a little OP for a 3700X lol

I went for the MSI MEG ACE, chipset cooling seems to be the best on the MSI boards plus with the current promotion got sent free CoolerMaster 240 AIO worth £100 that I will probably sell on.

Not bad then!! That would take the initial cost down. I'll maybe consider that too.

Went for the MEG ACE too, just been approved by MSI for the cooler so hopefully be here soon. Mainly chose it as it has a heat pipe between the VRM heatsink and chipset to hopefully need the chipset fan a bit less.

Their redemption form is a bit misleading, but got there in the end. Just need the 3900x now... mobo, nvme, 32gb ram, am4 kit for my nh-d15 and my tpm module are all here, just no cpu :p Noticed the price has jumped to £499.99 on here now.

Exactly what I did. My AIO has now been approved just waiting for the 3900x to complete the setup!!!

In another thread 8Pack also said the Meg Ace was a decent board.

Agreed. (greed, geddit? ;))

I've noticed this happening almost everywhere in the last week or so, especially on items like the bare-bones 3600, which is proving popular.

Thank heavens I've decided to postpone any upgrading until next Spring. No new games coming in 2019 that require this new tech., so I'll hold.
