I would rather have a measure of the cards true performance, it may be customary amongst the benchmarking fanatics but I'm sure the people on this forum want to see what the card is like at stock without such cheats/tweaks.

Hardly a cheat or tweak, its a simple setting in the drivers, not an uber tweak, or a clock/cheat etc.
I'd rather have both, as to be fair, its what Nvidia users are likely to have done when benchmarking, and I'd like to see as much like for like comparison as possible.

Settings wise, I was informed back when 3dmark03 just came out it was customary to benchmark with ATI drivers set to performance, by everyone I asked at the time, and have stuck to it since. It was people on THIS board which gave me this advice, so saying its what people on this board want to see is a bit misleading, as its was on this board's advice I adopted using performance mode to benchmark, as you want to find out the boards capabilities under optimal settings.

well if they are anything like the x1800 and x1900 series then you can adjust voltage via software :)

They let u change voltage a lot ? if so, how come some people are doing volt mods for these on water etc, to get higher clockspeed?
