What made the diference?

Hey Monstermunch,

what did you need to do to get it working? Was it the GEIL 800s? Somebody on here said they didn't work for him so an extra testimony in their favour would be reasuring.

Well I got my Geil Ultra ram and still no joy so I eventually managed to convince OcUK to exchange my mobo for me for a new DS4.

Got the new mobo, wired it up & it worked first time, no issues. From experience I would say that if you have a DS3, DS4 or DQ6 with the Geil Ultra and it won't work, then the mobo is BORKED..... In other words the mobo works, just not with core2duo or 800mhz ram!!!

From various things i've read, the Geil Ultra seems to be the most compatuible and certainly one of the best VFM around atm...
