pretty nice review. when you showing the card you want to zoom in to show the product up close ;)

show all the ports,parts zoomed in.connectors so on.so its really clear.the product is the video ! also contents of the box and warranty detail.

the back ground is ok. i would probably set up a interesting green screen set up. its not that expensive and will be far more professional.watch the sound on the end when its fading out it pops.

so maybe a greg channel them banner or the actual product picture or a popular gaming scenario.

would love doom. good luck with the video reviews :cool:

Yer it is. Done with RivaTuner and added my score to ROTTR thread. Worth noting I have ShadowPlay running and several background things, so lower than should or could be but doing a fair bit at the mo and not really got time :)

I'll keep that conversation in the bench thread, mate. It does look lower than I would expect.
 
I think your videos are pretty solid as is TBH. Maybe a short into with some music and your system specs would be a nice touch. Also more games and possibly synthetic benchmark results could be good for a broader representation, but honestly I think your videos are good as they are.

To take your videos to the next level use green screen...rather than have a crappy image box go up you could have the cards and the gameplay behind you...also you need cutaways say of nivida stock footage for a few seconds and stuff...:)

Oddly you're quite engaging it just needs some creativity easy to do all this in Sony Vegas btw...

Order that green screen and you'll never look back :D

It's important to wear a black t shirt when green screening
 
Looks like payday I will be getting a Green screen. I did watch a tutorial and looks simple enough, so fair shout on that :)
 
Youtube is amazing. Even my 10 year son has got a Vlog on YouTube. He's just reviewed the Google Cardboard. I'm hoping he will turn into a DiamondMinecart.

If you have the presence I'm sure you can make some decent money at it.
 
Your reviews are getting better with each one you do. Most ideas I had for improvement have been mentioned above.

I did not see it mentioned, but maybe use a post editing software to liven the review up a bit. It would add to the production value. Grab one of those freeware tracks to also use at the start of the video as an intro together with an gregster reviews logo animation :D

Oh and most importantly for me, when reviewing Ubisoft games, don't forget, it is NOT Ubi-eye-soft. It is you-be-soft ;)

I do not have doom yet, so would love top be entered in for a chance to win a copy. Cheers and keep up the good work.

If you want overlay on dx12 games like hitman try the latest dxtory. I heard it can do a overlay, dunno if it does a lot of info but fps should be there at least.

Nice one and good to hear. I have no intention of making money in truth and I do it as I really enjoy it. I get ripped to shreds at work though but I give out so much stick, a little coming back is only fair :D

Oh, something subtlety absurd placed in the background - see how many spot it - and keep the theme with equally daft things in subsequent vids. :D

Yer, I thought it was also plastic before ordering and when I got it in my hands, it is indeed metal.

Thanks everyone for the ideas and some seriously good points. I should have come here before doing it and then seen what the results were like after :D
