**Gigabyte Super OC GTX 480's - VERY LOW PRICES!**

The pricing of high end nvidia cards is getting beyond a joke. Can see everyone being on an ati card if it keeps up. Perhaps I'm just angry though as I missed out on the cheapness, and am still rocking a GTX 280!

People with a single 480 who want to go SLi.

Usually people will buy one card and then later down the line when the card has dropped in price, due to newer gen. cards being released, will add a second card. Defeats the whole purpose. This just leaves the idiots and madmen to buy them I guess...

Yeah, the whole "buy a second to increase performance later on" seems a rubbish theory, because in this case when one could do with the added punch a second card will give they are near obsolete and super expensive due to low stocks!
Does the low stock situatoin affect second hand prices (for the better) for those who decide to sell the 480 ? Probably not.

Buckster, I know you had your fair share of problems with your card and did a lot of testing.

Do you mind me asking the voltages and fan speeds/temps you have settled on?

I was lucky that my SOC was stable at stock SOC clocks on arrival (after PSU upgrade!) although am having trouble overclocking it.

I use AB (cant seem to get on with OC Guru) and I can up the core/shader clocks but cant get the thing stable! The memory won't shift at all above 1900Mhz :(
