Giganet FTTP

One thing I will say for Giganet is their customer service/support to date is abysmal!! I've tried e-mailing, phoning and wishfully WhatsApp but to no avail and this is before it's even been installed.

I made an error entering the e-mail address for my mother incorrectly and trying to get it changed, or rather get in contact with someone to get it changed is proving near impossible.

If anyone has had direct dealings with Giganet and knows of a fool proof way of making contact I'm all ears.

I'm having the same issue - doesn't bode well does it!

No, unfortunately not.

However, I did manage to finally get through to someone on the phone this morning, just as I pressed the Send button on an e-mail.

As helpful as the girl was with checking and changing the e-mail address to the correct one I was still unable to log into the account on-line as the e-mail address wasn't found upon trying. She advised me that she'd speak to Support as soon as they got in a 9 o'clock and get back to me, needless to say I'm still awaiting her call.

Currently on the phone to them waiting for someone to pick up.

Yeah they are an absolute joke, I must say. I'm still no closer to getting anything sorted since October.

@izzop any luck in getting hold of them?

No, no change from Wednesday, so I'll be trying to get through to someone this coming week.

The only development since then was an e-mail received later that day...

Good morning,

I have just emailed the person in charge of all customer portals and I am waiting for a response from them, as soon as I do I will be in touch.

Kind regards,

Yeh so far so good. Router arrived yesterday and confirmation of appointment tomorrow. Guess its down to city Fibre engineer tomorrow to hook me up and then hope that the cables they laid are not broken anywhere :p

I'm losing the will to live with them...multiple emails not replied to, WhatsApp conversation not replied to, phone calls not answered. Then they've had the cheek to take a DD a month early! Needless to say, I cancelled the DD on the day of collection, so it wasn't taken. Irony is that as soon as I cancelled the DD, I got an (automated) email from Giganet to advise my DD had been cancelled :D Thinking of sending a recorded delivery letter expressing my dissatisfaction, and asking for an immediate reply. Let's see what they do with that...

Have you not migrated over yet? Thought that was due 24th of last month?

Incredibly frustrating when businesses don't respond, one of my greatest pet hates.

I've had two WhatsApp messages, no response after I respond...

Giganet is trying to reach you about 2. Per company policy, you must provide your consent to continue messaging. To opt in, reply with YES. To opt out, reply STOP.

Respond with YES and nothing. Clearly just an automated response.

All installed went fine and the eero pro 6e they supply is on just now until I get everything routed to my Unifi gear. That upload :D
