Girl vs. Football (Specific dilemma, help me out!)

If it's no kind of BIG event with your girlfriend and you're only going to be gone for a couple of hours....

Don't be so spineless or she'll crush you all the time.

She's working for all but the last half hour so she's kicking up a fuss about nothing - by the time she gets to the pub after work the match will probably be finished / by the time you get home she'll only have been home a few minutes.

seriously, its a major game near the end of the season, you watch the football, that is it.
 
If you're looking to skive seeing her in some way, then you should just dump her. If you're going to view her as an inconvenience to your life then you'll find she is just that.
 
She does sound a bit selfish. Solution?

Find hot girl who also happens to like football. Jobs a good'un ;)

Football is played with a round ball, not an egg-shaped one :)
 
Explain the time taken to play a game of football (dont go into too much detail...she is a girl :p) then say im going to watch the game and when its finished ill come spend time with you, I know leaving the pub is god damn hard to do after a game (especially if you have mates there) but do it none the less.

If she says no... just say ok and walk away then later when she isnt expecting it creep up on her wearing a balaclava grab her, blindfold her, chuck her in the back of a car, drive her out into the country, tie her to a tree somewhere and leave her then go pick her up when the games finished saying "Ive just had to pay a ransom to find out where the kidnapper hid you" jobs a goodun! :p :D
 
heh do people not read messages :p there is no point suggesting that he watch it with her or spend time with her as she won't even be there!

I'm not sure what to suggest mate, you could tell her you'll go and see her on Friday but you are going to watch the match as she won't be there. See what she says.

Thankfully I don't have this problem as I have girl who is a footy fan :D
