Glasgow Airport-under attack

The suspicious device that was found in the hospital, was found on the suspect that was taken there.

It is beleived to be a suicide belt and is still being analysed.

(This is breaking on sky news and is not yet on any websites)

Yet more typical Sky News crap there. At no point did the police chief inspector even hint at the fact that it was a "suicide belt".

Interesting that they are blurring his face out of the video now, they didn't earlier.

Care to elaborate?

Its just been on the news that a device was found in the hospital where the guy was being treated, thats why it was evacuated, not in order to keep people away from him as had been suggested here.
I understand it was a wage packet and therefore highly suspiciuos in Liverpool. :D

Exactly, there is no belt in any pictures and the police officer said nothing about a suicide belt, but sky news did, and are again as im typing, describing it as a suicide belt.

Whatever it was though, it obviously gave them cause for concern.

I have no idea, Im just relaying what I am watching in a live press conferance on sky news.

We are probably all watching it, it's on most news channels. However, at no point did anyone say it was a suicide bomber apart form Sky News. Seriously, Sky News are more like an entertainment channel than a credible news network. Like Fox... ;) Put BBC News 24 on.

EDIT: Just put Sky News on while typing this and all they are going on about is a "Suicide belt" they are pathetic lol

To be fair to Sky news at no point did they say "we know he had x,y,z on his person" they merely asked about reports they'd heard.. If any news channel had heard such reports they'd ask the same question.

After the news conference was over they went on to talk about this "suicide belt" which was on him etc... To be fair any credible news network would not make that connection unless an official did so first. BBC have hinted at it, asking questions about it to corespondents (as they are as I'm typing), but they don't jump up and down saying OMGZ SUICIDES BELTS like Sky do/did :p

actually they never got into the terminal because the bollards block the door which is why they couldnt get through the door.
everything happened at the entrance

Ironic you mention BBC News 24 as a credible source and slate Sky news when BBC themselves are jumping up and down OMGZ "Blazing car crashes into airport..A car which was on fire has been driven at the main terminal building at Glasgow Airport. Eyewitnesses have described a Jeep Cherokee being driven at speed towards the building with flames coming out from underneath".. Seems they can't get their facts right either.. I don't recall hearing ANY "eye wtiness" say the car was being driven while on fire let alone being driven with flames shooting out from underneath it.

Some of the first people interviewed said that. Guess you weren't paying attention :D
