Glastonbury Thread...

U2 been confirmed as headliners for the Friday.

If that's the best for next year I might let my ticket go and take a £10 loss. Hate them with a passion. Hopefully some of the strong rumours turn out to be true and make it worth my while!
 
I hope they haven't, I'm hoping to get resale tickets. :D I wonder what the chances of getting them are? One in a million? :p
 
I've been twice and have booked and paid for this years ticket and can count the amount of bands I've seen at the Pyramid on one hand.
I'd need more limbs than Shiva to count the bands i've watched at the other stages such as the Avalon (my usual haunt) or the Jazzworld stage (Rolf Harris for the win!).

Glasto is so much more than the nonsense they parade on the Pyramid.
 
Bleugh, U2, rather be sleeping in my tent than watch them!

Fatboy Slim has been confirmed along with Mumford and Sons. Snoop Dogg is a BIG rumour as well, really wish Jay-z was performing this year or Kanye.

hangtime you need shooting if your a fan of electronic music and miss orbital for a&b ! some nasty clashes all sunday mind

Wow, thread resurrection :)

I'm going again, none too pleased with the line up though.. Just as well I don't make it to 99% of the bands anyway. Saying that though, there are a few gems - Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, Mos Def and live band, Stornoway (EVERYONE GO AND SEE THEM), The Levellers.. Chase and Status are thoroughly meh, but always put on a good show, especially with Plan B. Few other decent electronic acts - Was hoping for The Knife though :(

Who else is going?
 
Gorillaz have replaced U2 as the headline act on Friday!

Great news! Definitely going to watch Gorillaz as U2 were someone I wasn't going to watch at all!
 
First time im gonig as well, not many people i actully want to see though, unlike leeds/reading that line up is awsome.
