Glastonbury Thread...

What the Beeb showed of the Pendulum set looked absolutely amazing, I saw their 'Live at Brixton' DVD the other week and that wasn't too sad either! I'm looking forward to seeing what Prodigy, not heard/seen any off their new tracks live yet

Totally agree, Pendulum's set looked absolutely mental

Loved the Calvin Harris cover/remix too :)

Prodigy on HD were something else, just awe inspiring with 3 of the daddies in a row, firestarter, breathe, and smack my bihartch up.

Prodigy and Pendulum for me this year, although La Roux doing her acoustic Bulletproof was mesmerising too !!!!

The one with the big hair...? Yeah, that was La Roux.

Like my computer, I kinda frowned when Jo Whiley said she was doing an acoustic set - does the woman even know what acoustic means? And she's supposed to be a DJ...!?!

Blur were immense...but I knew they would be. ;)

On a par with the gig on Friday at MEN, they saved Song 2 until the second encore on Friday which imho had a much better effect than just slotting it in the middle like they did at Glasto, pretty much destroyed the MEN. :D

Prodigy and Pendulum and Madness and abit of Tom Jones did it for me this year. Worst set that was expecting much more from from what i watched was Blur and The Specials

I've watched it jealously on repeat all weekend! I am so desperate to get tickets for next year. I know tickets go on sale soonish for 10. Does anyone have more of an idea when? Will it be within the next month? I've tried to register but I get en error message when I submit, I assume this is because they haven't prepared for 10 yet.

The deposit system is being used for 10 too. I think this is brilliant just being able to pay £50 for a ticket then the rest by Feb.

That was amazing.

Blur, madness and the specials were absolutely stonkingly brilliant. Had to miss prodigy, but I've seen them before.

I think the Boss trumps them all, 59 years old and showing them how it's done !

Didn't enjoy Blur that much, Prodigy was amazing though, incredible set. I missed Neil Young though !

just got back from the festy

arcadia and shangrila areas were out of this world,

agreed, the arcadia and trash city areas were the highlights for me. the mental dnb and flame shows combined with mad machinery were very very good

saw the egg, hybrid and reso @ arcadia which were mindblowing:cool:
