God of War: Ragnarok

The beginning and the end are great, just wish the middle wasn't so bloated.
Got fed up of constant encounters every 5 feet and the same mini boss reused for the 5th time just to make some sections longer.
 
Just picked this up for around £23 after cashback. Installing it also :cry:

Probably won't get to it for another 4-5 month by which time the game will be cheaper to buy, but what the hell, its Xmas and it makes me happy having it installed and ready :D

Going to launch it soon and then Silent Hill 2. Fancy trying them both out before going to bed.

But then need to go back and finish Stalker 2 before I pick which one ofnthose to start. Probably Silent Hill 2 as that is the only one I stand a chance of completing before Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is out.
 
Bloody had to reset my password as not needed to login to my Sony account for years since selling my PS4 Pro.

Haha. You know you love to mention your download speed every opportunity you get. Bet you can't hit 117.5 with your line :p

In my last house with my 1gb line could only reach 116. Since we upsize our place and got the same line I can get that little bit more :D
 
Man, the graphics looks awesome. Got everything setup.

Need to play a bit and see how performance holds up. Right down crazy high fps for the image quality on show.

I'm on 950Mbps up and down, so a max of 118MB/s is possible, not that it matters as I cap everything at 100MB/s anyway.

Anyway. Did you beta testing this game? Any tips on settings?

"Tips" on "settings" - Yes, just whack it all up on your 4090 :p

Don't think you guys get what I am saying. As an example, is it worth using DLSS Performance over Quality in this title? Does FG work well etc.

I already said it has crazy high fps. I am already maxed out. Just turned off film grain and motion blur.

Ii have FG on and DLSS on Performance.
 
Currently shows as 87% GPU utilisation and 145W :D

Actually that is the pause screen. In game is 130W and 82% utilisation. Weird.
