Going bald before you're 40

Just shave it off. Got rid of mine a couple years ago when I was 35. Trying to cling on to a hairstyle when your hair is nearly gone is just, in the words of Trump...Sad.

Depends how much hair you are losing and how much you have left. I have quite a lot left with mild thinning at the front and in the middle, so isn't really necessary in my case. Also it does depend on the shape head you have. Some people can pull off the bald look well, and in other people it might look ridiculous. I can't speak from experience on that, but I would imagine that is why some people don't do it.

# 1 – The OPC’s (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) that are in grape seeds inhibit the production of DHT, one of the main factors in hair loss. The OPC’s also stimulate hair follicles, promoting healthy hair growth.

# 2 -- When you use grape seed extract, not only is it excellent to treat hair loss, it can also help to “reverse” the effects of aging because of its detoxifying agents. You will notice that your skin looks healthier, which as we all know is going to make you look younger. You will also have healthier looking hair, something else that helps to keep you looking young.

# 3 -- Grape seed extract lowers the amount of DHT in the hair follicles. This means that it will stimulate the follicles so they are healthy, allowing new, healthy hair to grow quickly.

# 4 -- When you take grape seed extract, it can do a lot to help improve your cardiovascular system. It will increase blood circulation, so your body has plenty of oxygen and nutrition, which of course is going to help to promote healthy hair growth.

# 5 – Grape seed oil contains high levels of vitamin E and essential fatty acids that are important for healthy hair. These nutrients are rich in anti-oxidants and have anti-inflammatory properties that not only promote healthy hair growth, but also are good for our overall health.

# 6 – Grape seed oil is easy to use, and can be taken orally or used as a topical solution. You will find a large variety of lotions and creams, and even some shampoos that contain grape seed oil available on the market today.

# 7 -- Grape seed oil can help to slow down the aging process, so when you use it, you will find that you look younger and healthier. It will help to keep your hair healthy and shiny and your skin glowing, which in turn is going to do wonders for your self-confidence.

In addition to the many products containing this nutrient, grape seed extract is available in both liquid and capsule form, and can be found in most health food stores, pharmacies, specialty food stores and online stores.

If you decide to use it in the liquid form, you only need to use a small amount at a time to encourage healthy hair growth.

Any links to studies to back up these claims?

Hats.

Eric typo above lol :D

48 now but severe male pattern baldness before I was 40. I would prefer a full head of hair but given that I don't then I just embrace it and clip it #1 all over. It's saved me a fortune in hair cuts and shampoo and a huge amount of time washing it. It's a little uncomfortable in mid winter (need to wear a hat) and in mid summer (hat again).

But honestly it's so convenient that if I suddenly grew hair again I would probably still shave it.

Hair is for the birds.

Yeah, a hat is a must. I wear a tweed flat cap all year round. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It's also a requirement of Jaguar ownership so I have all the bases covered.

My hair was on it's way when I was 18, pretty much all gone by 25. I just run over what's left every other week with my beard trimmer. Only real issue is if we get a decent summer I have to spend nearly all of it under a hat :D
