Going bald before you're 40

Starting to thin on back / top. Tempted to just shave it all off but I can't grow a beard (irritation) and the fully hairless look can be hard to pull off. Might leave the eyebrows on :D

I'll have a full head of hair for life, my grandad and great grandad did. However, I'm greying pretty quickly now.

I say do it gracefully. No need to cover it up, just accept the inevitable. Men aren't expected to be beautiful anyway :p

36 mine is receding but fairly slowly - my dad was bald by 19 so doesn't like it that mine hasn't gone as quick. I've been using L'Oreal Elvive which seems to further slow the receding but won't stop or reverse it.

Fortunately I look alright if I do shave it as long as I ditch the glasses - so down the road probably looking at contacts or laser.

Thining by late teens, monks head by mid 20's. I come from a long line of baldies. Bought some Wahl clippers and have shaved it off completely for going on 20 years.

I hate having hair though, it looks stupid on me.

My hairline started receding at age 18 so i just shaved it shorter and shorter... when it got to the point that the crown was totally hairless i just used a razor and shave it every 2 days in the shower... im 43 today and its never bothered me. Women seem to have no big issue with a bald man as long as you have a beard of sorts ( so you do not look like a huge baby ) and more importantly that it isnt something YOU worry about. Saves on shampoo anyway :p

I never understand why blokes get so caught up about going bald.... its part of life and getting old, get over it lol

But still have plenty of hair in other places. Like my chest, back, legs and arms get plenty of hair. Started to get loads of chest hair in my late 20s. Let's not make jokes about hair transplantation from other regions though. :p
