Had a swing with some new P790s last night. Christ they're lofted strong7 iron is 30 degrees, I was getting ~185 yards of carry with it - ridiculous. Obviously adjust for range mats, so perfect lie etc, but even so. I'll stick with my P770s!
Yeah - getting crazy....
My mate who has a set of Cobra irons and plays off 28 regularly goes on about "out hitting" me with irons... His 7 iron is like 4 degrees stronger than mine! Plays like a full club more
He probably only hits 1 or 2 greens a round in regulation but doesn't see that as a strength!!
