He nearly lost it for him with his tee shot on 12 and wedge shot on 13

Ex then clutched with that lob shot to recover and Matt with a clutch bunker shot on the last. Both of them are in incredible form.

Imagine winning a PGA your event with your brother, unbelievable.

Decided that I wanted to give a new putter a try, so ordered the Odyssey AI-One Miller Jailbird Mini yesterday and it was delivered today

Won't get a chance to play until the weekend but I did roll a few putts in the house. The sound and feel compared to my O-Works 1W is different but I will get a better idea on Saturday of how it plays

Out today, Wed medal. Felt a bad twinge in my forearm this morning (I've a history of injuries in my right arm). Put a compression sleeve on and put an old Reg flex shaft on the driver and teed off late afternoon.

Was purposely trying to play the most boring golf possible to avoid aggrevating the arm, but it was weird I felt I was swinging at about 70% off the tee but the ball was going about 90% distance. 1 fairway missed.

Such a weird round, 6 trips to the sand and a poor GIR return but ended up with a 78 for a -2 nett 69.

On howdidido there's a div3 guy who has posted a net 59 though, absolutely bonkers unless there's been some kind of user error putting his score in

When you see Net50's or low 60's it's such a disappointment in this new handicap system. It's not even the same game. Especially as your net -2 to me is classed as an exceptional round beating your handicap!

No way ANYONE invests in the current product.

Paying out $40million purses over a season is like half a billion dollars - let alone the running costs etc.

It may survive but it will be a very very small thing going forward.

Bryson ain't getting his $500 million contract he was looking for any more.

Poulter and Westwood seem awfully quiet suddenly - they were gobbing off last week about all the fake news etc..... Pathetic

Poulter is a fud. The sooner him and Westwood disappear from golf, the better.

Can remember Poulter trying to save face when he signed up to LIV by saying that the money will secure his family's future.

The man that has probably £25 million worth of cars...

Anyone here played golf in Tenerife?

Going next Wednesday for 5 days
Playing:
Costa Adeje Championship Course
Las Americas Golf
Amarilla Golf
Obama Golf

16 of us going. Ryder Cup Style
I've played both Costa Adeje and Golf Las Americas.

Costa Adeje - great course - quick greens, some fun but tricky holes. Definitely get buggies as it's a long walk between some holes. Plenty of wind as well. Some water stops, but stock up from the starter's hut before you head out - you'll need it! Nice bar there as well, patio overlooking the 18th green.

Golf Las Americas - a bit more inland, but some interesting holes. More of a "tourist favourite" I think, more varied groups. More expensive when I played (November), but good nonetheless. Again, get a buggy. Very soft greens when I played. Pace of play a little slower as the holes are grouped closer together. But would be good for your trip, I think. Closer to town as well.

Yeah we've got buggies all included. We're staying at Hotel Vulvano so in a prime spot.
We've transport to and from the courses included too.

Can't wait to get out there and play. Courses look unreal

I 3D printed a copy of the Lab DF3 putter. Printed in PETG Translucent (it's the only PETG I had), with a 3mm aluminium face, using a normal steel shaft and a Super Stroke grip.

I cut myself whilst removing the supports and ended up opening the cut whilst fitting the bottom plate, so I bled over it a lot and I can't get some of the stains out.

Initial testing and it seems a bit crap to be honest, but I'm kind of balls deep now as I ruined my old putter to make this!

I was a few beers deep by that point, so no

I've managed to get most of the blood out now. I've done some testing on carpet inside and it actually feels quite good so far. I'm playing on Sunday and Monday so that will be the real test.

Well the 59 has disappeared from the official results so looks like some user input error thankfully and its now 2x 65s in top spot. First proper opening medal tomorrow counting towards order of merit so will be interesting to see if any banditry tomorrow!

Arm is doing ok, no reaction touch wood. Tempted to keep that reg flex shaft in and stick to the 75% tactic from Wed again!

Out today, Sat medal. Arm not great this morning so compression sleeve on and 75% swings again. Great front 9, was +2 through 11 but then went on a poor run and ended up +9 through 17 and ended with an 80. Had 6 tries for birdie inside 10ft but only converted 1 so this really was one that got away but lots of positives to take in to the next one.

Need to get on a trackman and suss out what's happening with the easy swings. I reckon I must be making better contact (i.e. middle of the face) so smash factor/ efficiency likely up and its also maybe bringing the spin down a tad due to the better contact. Seems like the way forward!

Carded a new PB on the Cathedral course today despite three doubles, which included two in the last three holes. Still, I par'd the last which will probably win me the jackpot, right after a big one was won last week :p

82 gross (par 72) for a net -7 in the monthly medal. 41 out, 41 back. Final tally was three doubles, five bogeys, nine pars and one birdie :). Was good on the par three's again today, +1 for the four which seems to be key to a good round along with solid putting. Just one three putt from 50ft on a two tier green.

Order of merit comp tomorrow so hoping the good form continues!
