Good Gaming Case

I just like the idea of wc

Well give us a case to work with, you can get WC if you really want. If this is your first build though, it's not really a good idea.

Is this your first build, watercooling requires speccing your own parts and maintainance every so often, it is a high end cooling solution for high overclocking, or it can be used to make a truely silent PC, both will set you back around £200+.

Air cooling can be made near silent, given a 120mm equiped case and £50 on coolers and fans.

If you are not up to modding a case for watercooling at all, then you will not be able to fit a pump in etc, as only the rad will have mountings.

Watercooling is something I did not attempt till my sixth PC build, the benefits for the money unless you are doing high overclocking are really not worth it.

You are better of going with a high end air setup than watercooling, as if you do not know what you are doing then you can ruin a lot of equipment with it, firstly the case with mods that go wrong.

is it easier if i buy the case with watercoolin

Possibly, but a cheap prebuilt water cooling system is quite likely to have worse performance than a decent air cooling system, and be a lot more hassle.

The Koolance I mentioned above would be spectacular for your purposes. it looks ten times better in person than it does in photographs. She's a stunning case.

Edit; And maintance would include stripping the whole loop down from time to time and cleaning out all the blocks, reassembling the loop, leak testing and removing all air bubbles. etc etc

if you dont mind me askin what does maintaining involve

Changing the water, checking and preventing algae buildup.

Nothing major, but if your buying a pre-made system with a case, the performance will be dire compared to true water, they cost a lot and you can get quieter and cooler air systems for less.

If you are not up to modding a case, I would seriously recommend not getting water, especially as you have no real world application for it.

thanks guys i think youv'e put me off wc, so think air is easier option

Good decision until you have built quite a few rigs, and are comfortable with a dremel. Now have a look at the the PC7+ the V1000, the Eclipse etc for a dcent air cooling rig.
