Good Omens: Neil Gaiman to adapt Terry Pratchett collaboration for TV

Does S2 get better as i loved season 1 and so far its taken me 3 goes to watch episode 1 of season 2.

Finished watching S2 last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The thing that annoyed me the most was the naivety of the angels and demons, but I guess it's a comedy and it's done for comedic effect.

Things like Muriel taking a demon to heaven?

What a absolute heap of crap compared to the first season.

That was painful to watch, wanted to hope it was gonna get better but it just played the next Hollywood stereotype after another.

None of the magic of the first series, just the standard crap that's slowly sinking the film industry.

I kind of wish they'd stuck at one season. The first season did a great job of taking Gaiman/Pratchett's collaboration to the small screen; the second season felt like a tribute band.

Honestly with the drop between seasons 1 and 2, I can live with this, and honestly considering the circumstances getting a chance to tie it together in some fashion is more than I expected.

Guessing Sandman is next on the block too.

I know a lot of people who loved season 2, but I wasn't a fan at all despite rather enjoying season 1. I guess that's when it lost Pratchett's influence. Still, I'm glad it's getting a proper wrap-up.

I imagine so. That one I'm rather more sad about, I think the comics are (mostly) superb.
