GOOD VR games?

No mate, single player only at the moment but I think co-op is going to be added at some point in the future (could be wrong on that though).

I will hold off getting it so until closer to actual release. Always wary about getting early access games after Prison Architect. I loved one of the earlier builds, then they made sweeping changes and it was never as good afterwards :(

Besides, I just want to find more multiplayer games for the Ocuk VR group to get involved in :)

Better off just teaming up in a wing and go hunting in a RES. Multicrew seems to have fallen flat - it's just not involved enough by all accounts. But yeah, I'd be up for a bit of co-op bounty hunting at some point if anyone fancies it :)

Agreed, multi crew is boring for everyone else but the pilot. You'd have a better experience in star trek bridge crew. A wing is a different kettle of fish, but it's less of a social VR experience and more like enjoying a solo VR experience with other people doing the same thing (since you can't see each other or get the same cues you can in other games). It does help to have people to fly with though and breaks up what can be a bit of a monotonous experience (exploring with a friend is always better as you can stop and take vanity screenshot)

Any pad game recommendations?
Damaged Core - first person shooter.
Esper: The Collection - psychic powers puzzle game.
Feral Rites - combat brawler adventure (becomes much cheaper when there's a sale on).
Lucky's Tale (obvious one, but you didn't mention it) - free platformer.
Landfall - twin-stick shooter/light strategy-ish.
Minecraft - if you're ok with full locomotion, this actually becomes an amazing game in VR (assuming you weren't bothered about it before like me).
Mountain Goat Mountain (free game that is more addictive than it has a right to be) - platformer.
Omega Agent - jetpack shooter.
Shufflepuck Cantina Deluxe - sci-fi air hockey.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - adventure/puzzle/exploration - you need to be comfortable with full locomotion.
Witchblood - platformer.

Which Eve have you played - Valkyrie or Gunjack? I wouldn't recommend Valkyrie unless you really like online PvP, and Gunjack is an arcade hiscore chasing wave based turret shooter (that I actually quite liked).

Anyone tried onward? Looks really good and tempted to pick it up. It's only early access but still looks good
I nearly did, as it seems really good, but I did see some steam reviews that put me off (poor performance etc). Would be interested to hear some perspectives from people that own it.

It's come a long way since it first came about. I own it, but rarely play it, can't say as I've had issues with performance.

It's extremely tactical, you will get schooled by those that devote any time to it, why I tend to avoid it. That said the latest update has added a single player campaign and tutorial, so you can learn the basics without having to do it on the fly in a round online.

It's a working functional game, the mechanics are all intuitive, but it's extremely slow paced. If your looking for a cs type game, then Pavlov (as basic as it is) is that.
