Its been on there since last week but it didn't let you upload your music. Hopefully that'll change tomorrow

As said above the music store is now also live, meaning the complete service is now out in the UK.

Just uploading mine now. Only have 867 songs so should be done pretty quick!

There is an option under "Advanced" that is bandwidth available, I have it on fastest possible. Will this reduce the quality of my songs or?

No, it will just hog more of your bandwidth while uploading.

I've just started uploading music to it and it's only uploaded about 4 songs, but I now have 110 songs on there, so I guess it's working

The uploading is working, but I thought the whole idea of the match service was that you didn't need to upload?

Edit: Music Match def working... From the time of my original post till now (2 mins) I went from 4 songs to 137 songs uploaded

Did you misread what I said? I'd uploaded 4 songs, yet I have 110 songs on there.

How do you think the extra 106 songs got there?

I've limited Google Music to 512kbps upload (resource monitor shows it using 90-110kB/s) and I'm upto 525 songs now

Edit - It's upto 575 songs now, so in about 45 minutes I've uploaded about 4.75GB of music at a speed of 100kB/s, pretty good imo

Just realised, no idea why it's using 800kb/s instead of the 512 I limited it to :confused:

, was wondering why my internet was laggy, that's pretty much my max upload

Uploading now. Looking around the shop, a lot of the songs cost £1.29. I won't be paying that!

Does anyone know if the songs are DRM free?

Apparently yes, 320 kb/s DRM-free mp3s. You might be limited on the number of times you can download them though.
