Google Music

Can someone show me how to re-authorise my phone to google music? All I've got appearing in settings on the Music settings is my laptop...... :-S

Indeed, I'll be deleting all my .mp3s, but keeping my .flacs ;)
 
My music definitely not 'matching', despite most of the 9k being matched on iTunes. How do you know in the player which tracks have been matched and ones that haven't?
 
still the same for me here, 149 tracks done since before 9am!
no sign of anything matching, I don't believe that the 22,000 tracks I have are incorrectly labelled! (spotify and itunes can match them no probs)
 
Scan and match not working here either, I've upload 3750 tracks but I started 2 days ago.

Several friends in the UK who only started today with the official release confirm scan and match isn't working for them either :confused:
 
I'm impressed with it carrying over the play counts from itunes. Just hope i can set it up to scrobble to last.fm when i use the play music app :o

Mines done 1700 tracks since 10 past 11 ^

What is your upload speed? I'm still on adsl2+ so only just over 1150 kbps upload.

This is pretty good, it updates all the new songs i add to my favourite lists from Windows Media Player.

its really annoying, I waited for weeks for this feature and now it seems to pick and choose where it works! guess i can't complain too much at a free service, was just hoping to have all my tunes for going away tomorrow...
 
Hi.

I've been using previous version of Google Music that I got from the US Play Store quite happily for a month. Now I updated to the latest UK one last night and scrolling though albums is extremely jerky.

I may roll back to the previous version which is v4.3.615.481147.

Anyone else finding scrolling albums jerky?
 
Using the latest Play Music from the UK store on an SGS2 (stock LPY) and scrolling through albums etc is super smooth, scrolling sideways through categories (playlist, artist, album etc.) pauses slightly though.

Edit - Did you try clearing app data before rolling back, incase there's something left over messing it up?

edit - refreshed and it's now working.

Looks really good actually, i'm uploading tracks very quickly and I love the web interface and android app. At last a decent way of organising music!

Guys I've got an album I can't get off my phone. It's not on my sd card. It's in the cloud, but when I choose on device music its not selected and even if I press it it doesn't go away?!
 
4000 tracks took me 3 weeks on and off. But once its done it done :)

I've not rolled back yet. I may just leave it for now. If it annoys me real bad I will roll back.
