doesn't removing encryption mean unlocking the bootloader, rooting it and flashing with an image? So basically wiping my phone clean?

If not, any easy how to videos on youtube?

Yep unlocking your phone wipes it too so its worth doing early.

People on XDA have been complaining about poor performance in some games. Not sure on the cause yet but its must be some kind of optimisation issue.

Finally my order has been dispatched today from GPS!

Being delivered by ParcelForce using the Express 24 service, and was collected in London today. Does anyone know if they will deliver on Saturday?

How much screen on time are people getting?

I don't seem to be getting anything amazing on mine. I was hoping for an improvement over what a smaller flagship would get but this doesn't appear to be the case. I think I'm getting about 4-6 hours.

I don't care for screen on time. All I know is I took the phone of charge at 8am and I am now in bed at almost 1am and it still has 45% battery. Awesome. Coming from a n5 it would be dead by now.

I had to charge my old phone daily whether I used it or not pretty much, even when it was new.

Didn't charge the nexus for 2 days and it was around 55% saying it had another 2 days battery left. A phone that lasts me 4 days of light usage or 1 day of heavy usage is plenty of battery for me.

My n6 went back.

A combination of carphone warehouse in selfridges screwing up my warranty and the phone being too big to use one handed on the tube made me nervous about keeping it long term

I was offered a full refund after the warranty mistake so have taken it.

It is a great phone but impractical for me as I tend to use phones one handed. I tried to see what would happen in practice but it felt v precarious in my normal usage.

I'm not sure what to get now... iPhone 6 seems to be the obvious choice but I am not a huge fan of ios.

Press volume all the way down and select "None" on the menu. This will put your phone in silent mode.
You can choose how long you want it silent or have it set forever.

You don't even need to turn the volume all the way down, just press it either way once, which will bring up the mini menu and hit "none".

Thanks for that. I was wondering how to put my phone into silent mode. Is there a way to activate silent mode (without vibrate) and still have the alarm go off as normal?

Instead of choosing none, select priority, I think alarms are always priority notifications. Then only alarms and any other priority notifications will be active.
